ABOUT THIS LESSON

Lesson #4

Action List

Complete and submit:
1. Asteya and Brachmacharia assignments of module 1)

2.  Draw your stick figures for the side angle and the wide legged sitting side stretch.
Please note:
a) From now on draw the stick figures for the before (how it’s usually taught) and after (how you would do it now with my teachings). For the ‘before’, make little notes next to the corresponding body parts about what not to do and why.
b) Please review past postures and draw the before stickfigures for each one – if possible from memory first. If necessary, review past videos. Write down questions that come up.

Continue practicing all postures (also throughout the day) according to the ‘how to get the most out of the asana modules’. Remember to do these postures throughout the day as much as possible.

* Make sure you have a full journey in and out,
* you can take a full unrestricted breath of air,
* that you feel no pain or discomfort whatsoever,
* pay attention to compression and tension and that you know exactly where to feel the stretch.
* feel your entire body as a unit as you are doing the postures. Preferably with your eyes closed.

3.   Note down and submit any questions/comments for this module to discuss on our next call, including your answers of all the questions I asked during the lessons.

4.  Submit a picture of your stick figures and any observations you made during the asana lesson and your Yama and Niyama assignment.

5. For one week, every morning when you wake up and every night before you go to bed, repeat the mantras on the image above at least once. You can print it out or take a photo and make it the screen saver on your phone, or you can drag it onto your desktop and make it a wallpaper. REMEMBER TO DO THIS!
Please submit all assignments at least 24-48 hrs before the coaching calls, if you would like to discuss them.
